This has been an unusual past few weeks! Staff members and students have been absent due to illness. I think things are finally settling down and getting back to normal. In order to make this next few weeks run smoothly here are some important prayer reminders.
Father Dan has moved First Reconciliation to March 7th. Students should arrive at Our Lady of Victory Church by 8:45am and the ceremony will begin at 9:00am. Students should dress in their Sunday best or their formal uniform. After the children have gone to confession the adults may also go. This is a special day for our third grade families; please keep them in your prayers.
The sixth grade science camp is just around the corner. Our sixth grade class along with their teacher, Miss Cabral, will travel Santa Thresita Youth Camp and stay for four days and three nights. Students will experience and observe all that nature has to offer in this area of California and deepen their Christian faith. Keep our sixth grade community in your prayers.
Kindergarten orientation is Thursday, February 19th. If you or someone you know has a child who will be ready to attend Kindergarten in the 2015-2016 school year, please come and find out about our great kindergarten program! You will learn about the curriculum, uniform, cost of tuition, and Kindergarten testing. Please pray for our future student body.
On a final note…We have had great news about Charlie DeGrange. The tumor has shrunk another 20%! Prayer works!! Go in peace and don’t run in the halls!

Saint Valentine – St. Valentine is the patron of love, young people and happy marriages. He was imprisoned for marrying Christian couples. One ledged says while waiting for his execution, St. Valentine restored the sight of his jailer’s blind daughter. On the eve of his death he wrote a farewell note to the jailer’s daughter and signed it “From your Valentine.”
Pray For– Charlie DeGrange and his family; Jordan Halverson and her family; Jordan was diagnosed with a herniated cerebellum; 3rd grade class as they prepare for their First Reconciliation.
Congratulations- JV girls and boys basketball team. They had a great season! Thank you Mr. Kempen, Mr. Hirata and Mrs. Trukki for serving our community as coaches!
Prayer– Tender and compassionate God, You are our steadfast companion in the joyous times of our lives.
