Home   Principals Letter   October 14, 2014

October 14, 2014

It was a busy weekend for us!  Parents, students, staff and teachers were out representing the Our Lady of Victory Community.

Friday the teachers joined St. Anthony, St. Joachim, St. Helen’s schools to share their concerns and ideas for the classrooms.  The principals, including Stephanie Nitchals for San Joaquin Memorial High School, also gathered and discussed ways to improve our schools.

Saturday, the staff traveled to Visalia for the religious congress.  We went to workshops covering a variety of topics.  We learned how to make the rosary more relevant to our students, how to be better catechist and how to develop liturgical experiences for our students.

On Sunday, our school choir sang at the 9:30AM Mass.  If you have not yet heard our school choir you are missing out!  Last Sunday our choir was exceptional.  Katerina Rodriguez, Antonia Cardinale and Alysa Hernandez sang solos and sounded wonderful!  Thank you to Mrs. Wukits for sharing her talent and time with our students.  If you are a parent of a choir student- be proud!

I have electronically received the analysis of the IOWA Test scores.  Those test show that our students are growing and learning!  Thank you for supporting your student’s academic efforts.  We are seeing great progress!

If you have not yet completed the WASC survey, please do so soon. The link to the survey is: https://survey.insightify.com/60e-8c3-d6b-811Parents can log into their School Speak account and view this information in the Announcement section.  Please share your valuable opinion.

Have a wonderful week, go in peace and don’t run in the halls!
