January 14, 2014

If all goes according to plan this should be a quiet week at school with few interruptions in our daily routine.  However, I do have some updates for you.

Our 6th annual Crab Feed is almost here.  Tickets for this event sell quickly so plan on buying yours soon! Also you should have received raffle tickets for a $1,000 tuition credit.  You may turn those in before the Crab Feed or on the night of the event.  The Crab Feed is a great time to work off some parent hours.  Help will be needed the night before, during and after the event.  If you would like to sign up for a shift to help out or donate some product for the Crab Feed please call the office.

On Wednesday January 15th four members of our teaching staff will attend a math workshop.  The focus will be on establishing critical math routines in the class.  If your child’s teacher is attending the workshop, you will receive an email with the name of the substitute teacher and where your child’s study hall will be held.

Have a blessed week, go in peace and don’t run in the halls!

Sincerely,

Faith Corner

The Conversion of Saint Paul -St. Paul, the young man who looked after the cloaks of the men who were stoning St. Stephen, grew into a dedicated and efficient persecutor of Christians.  We celebrate the day that Christ appeared to him in a vision as he was on the way to Damascus.  The Lord reproached him for his persecutions and converted him to the true faith.

Special Thank You – To all the parents who organized and donated to the class Ephinany parties.  To all the families who hosted hospitality for the Academic Decathlon Team.

Pray For  Michael Carvalho, grandfather to Ryan & Dylan Nakada.  For the Grandmother of the Giboney family. For Avery Estelle and family, whose uncle recently passed away.

Prayers of the DayDear Lord, grant me the strength to understand that not my will, but Yours be done.
