October 9, 2012

Dear Parents,

I am looking forward to the Saints Ball Dinner Auction!  Are you? Sometimes I spend so much time organizing and planning for the auction I forget how much fun it can be!

Do you enjoy going on mini vacations?  If you do, then you might be interested in the several get-away-packages that will be available at the Live Auction.  There will be trips to Cayucos, Yosemite and Monterey.  Each with hotel accommodations and other goodies!   If you are interested in a longer vacation check out the Mexico trip!  The highest bidder for this package will spend 8 days and 7 nights in a luxury condominium!

If you’re interested in sports how about NASCAR tickets, box seats at a Grizzly game, or 49 Niner tickets?  If your sport is fishing we have a package for you as well!

Some of you might be interested in bidding on item for your student.  For a fun time a student and three friends will go to lunch and the movies with me.  Or there is my personal favorite, “Principal for the Day.” This lucky student will take on the principal duties and may choose a vice principal to help out!  I wish I had one of those!

Of course the class ceramic pieces will be available to the highest bidder and the beloved kindergarten quilt as well.  Each kindergartner has designed their own quilt square and this year’s quilt has been lovely stitched together by Ruthie Quinto.

The best part about our auction is eating together and celebrating Our Lady of Victory School.  I hope to see all of you there!  Do your best and let God handle the rest!  Go in peace and don’t run in the halls.

Sincerely,
Deborah J.V. Nettell
